My Background
I am a premium brand designer, photographer and videographer.
My current design focus & expertise is in branding. I truly enjoy finding what makes a business unique and capturing that in a visually stunning message. I also have experience in print design (e.g., editorial design, poster design, brochure design, stationary design), and web design.
I have many creative tools that I love to incorporate into my design or message. I have a marketing degree that allows me to think like a business and achieve the best marketing results. I also love to get behind the lens. My greatest satisfaction from a project comes when the final product is an interesting, different, eye-catching campaign. I have learned how to create digital marketing content that goes far beyond just design and I know how to keep a consistent message on multiple digital platforms. My tools allow me to explore more possibilities and when it comes to it, I can communicate with like minded creatives, on any project, at any stage.

More about me
I was born and raised in Salt Lake City until my senior year of high school where hockey took me back east. I graduated high school in New Jersey and afterwards I went to upstate New York to Elmira College to obtain my marketing degree. Right after graduation, I had to come back home to my mountains. I played for a while and quickly realized I wanted to work in the creative industry as a designer in the outdoor industry.
To get a really good sense of me and my inner-child lets take it back to 1992 at Deer Valley: I am putting on my ski boots to head out skiing; but completely by myself. I am five years old. My courageous parents knowingly let me to ski alone with my imagination and curiosity running wild with the only instructions to be back by two o'clock. My boots, almost as heavy as I was, clunked across the cement towards the start of the run unlike any other. It's a steep, tight little maze through the aspen tress and condos. It's a run that is more roller-coaster like than any other. Banked turns, bridges going high over the roads, and just the feeling of it being "your" run. The only safety item that I had to have was a goofy fish hat so that all the lift operators had grown to recognize me and that grew into a sea of well-wishing eyes to keep tabs and watch over me.
So if you can imagine a little gremlin pushing it through the trees, with a fish on my head, trying to gain every speck of speed that the hill could give. Coming flying out onto the run I was off on my adventure spitting me right out onto a run that had a lift going right up the side of it. This was my favorite; I could always hear a squawk or two coming from the chairs. Approaching the lift line I was welcomed with a high fives or two and a comment from the lift operators while gawking tourists stared. I jumped up onto the lift that would carry me away. I really got a kick out of this! The freedom and curiosity for adventure has stayed with me ever since.
While my fish hat now permanently hangs off it's home on the bookshelf, its a constant reminder of the independence and drive. Two college degrees and a few hundred more days on the slopes later, I now strive to find the greatest solution to any problem while my passion drives me in each adventure that I begin. With a passion for graphic design and marketing, I live to promote the companies and independent lifestyle I was raised on.
