Biography

Coming out of college, for the second time around, I am very eager to get working. Right out of school is always hard. No one has real world experience and learning how to swim with the sharks, so to speak, is an intimidating task. But I am truly excited and ready to take on the challenge. My background has prepared me for this upcoming adventure. 

The outdoors are my addiction, my vice, and my main distraction in life. I have been fortunate to grow up in Salt Lake City, Utah and was an avid hockey player growing up, so much so that it took me over seas twice, to Norway not war, and even moved my family to New Jersey, where I graduated High School. Hockey has allowed me to experience many different cultures and see so much of the world. 

After Millburn, NJ I went to upstate New York to attend Elmira College and received my Bachelors Degree in Marketing. I was a four year member of their Golf team. I went to Elmira for the outstanding academics but my main attraction was to continue my Hockey Career. Things didn't pan out the way I had imagined and it was a life experience I had to learn on my own. I did leave with a career in Golf and my senior year I made second team all conference. God damn 2 stroke penalty for being a dumb ass made it so I didn't make the All Conference team. I will never forget that mistake. After graduating in 2009 and living back east for 5 years, I missed my mountains so much so that I had to move right back home.

Now residing back in Utah my love for marketing was there but my creative itch wasn't being scratched. Searching for endless marketing jobs that I never got excited for; I had to go back to school to develop my skills further. Attending the University of Utah I sought to become a designer. I originally went to college for marketing and that developed how I think and handle large assignments. Im proud to say that I have the brain of a businessmen and an eye of a designer.
