During my career at Park City Television (PCTV) I was faced with many fun and challenging projects. They all didn't directly involve design but they did include both my Marketing & Design skills and for that I want to share my experience organizing and managing the 2017 Sundance Gift Bag.
Every year the Sundance Film Festival comes to Park City, Utah. PCTV was very very involved in the festival. We had three live shows, 7-hours of daily live TV. Actors, Directors, Writers and all sorts of festival guests would be very busy during the weekend, to thank them for stopping by and being a part of our shows, we would give them a gift bag that was filled with awesome gifts that were mainly local brands. The bag itself, Cotopaxi, is a local national brand here in Utah. We included many other brands including Ooffos, A bottle of wine from Cognition Winery, Justin's Peanut Better Cups, Kuhl, Ruby Snaps, Dishing Magazine and Paul Mitchell.
I was not the only one that was helping on this project. We had our sales team, TV hosts and others helping. I was managing the project and the people helping out. We used the Outdoor Retailer show to get in contact with a lot of our partners and I put together a booklet that could be sent electronically, and handed out during meetings in printed form.
